Why Corrosion Prevention Packaging?
When most companies hear that we manufacture custom corrosion prevention packaging, they think that this only applies to the size of the bag. We manufacture over 40 different bag styles! While our sizes are custom, so are the designs and add-ons. However, we also offer valves, humidity indicators, and view windows that can also be customized. If your project requires a more custom bag, don’t worry we can still help. Our design team, in collaboration with you, is always on hand to make sure we provide the bag that can best meet your requirement.
Recently, we had a customer who was packing a missile transport container. This container was approximately 24ft in length by 5ft by 5 ft. In the ordering initial stage, the customer ordered a large box bag, similar to their past orders. However, due to the additional packaging required and the unique design of the item they had excess material. This was causing the packaging process to be longer and more tedious for the customer. This caused more steps for transporting the machine to its container, and the excess waste meant wasted money!
After much discussion with the customer and our design team, we were able to create a multi-part bag that eliminated any excess material caused by the machine’s different part sizes that best suited their distinct requirement. To the customer’s advantage, we also fit a valve to simplify the vacuuming process, speeding up their workflow and streamlined their process.
